Join citizen-astronaut Chris Sembroski as he explores Earth's fabulous clouds - in this montage, along with Hiroshi Ebina's haunting ambient music.

Chris Sembroski took stunning photos during his Inspiration4 mission – powerful, straight from the heart. No surprise. This was the first time an ordinary citizen had gone to orbit, primarily to observe and photograph Earth. He served as humanity’s eyes and filled it with heart, awe and love for Earth. Great photos.

Inspiration4 was truly an inspiration. Jared Isaacman (now NASA Administrator) sponsored and flew on this mission, along with Chris Sembroski, geo-scientist Sian Proctor and nurse Hayley Arcenaux. It was the first all-private orbital mission. They also raised over $240 million for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

We set the stage with movies of SpaceX Dragon from the ISS, taken by Astronaut Matthew Dominick took during Expedition 72 – not part of the Inspiration4 mission, but some movie magic showing the SpaceX Dragon.

Hiroshi Ebina composed and performed the music. Hiroshi is a Japanese sound artist creating electronic/ambient music. He has a unique multi-disciplinary background, ranging from composing ambient music to performing gagaku, the traditional ritual music in Japan. It seemed a nice emotional pairing with the Earth photos.
