Wow! Watch Laura Bottei in her official Master of Music Recital on the Fisk organ at Indiana University. Superb performance, as mesmerizing as the view of Earth we later added

Laura plays the first movement of Toccata and Fugue in F Major – one of Bach’s great masterworks. Thank you and congratulations Laura.

I am still astounded at how organists breath life and soul into music like this, carrying multiple lines of harmony with their hands and feet. Such concentration and poise.

The Association of Space Explorers partners with the American Guild of Organists, and their Young Organists council. We welcome young organists to explore Earth + Music. Laura was our liaison, and it was such a pleasure to work with her on this movie.

For the orbital view, we selected a long pass from the Atlantic Ocean to the Bay of Bengal. Follow this 6,000 mile journey, starting with dawn over the Atlantic. We pass over Europe, Asia and India, to dusk over Bay of Bengal. Well done to the crew of ISS 40 (Sep 8, 2014).

PS – After getting her Master of Music, Laura launched her career as Artistic Director for the New Carlisle Chorus, and now coordinates Education & Advocacy at Music for All. No surprise that she shares her musical gifts. Bon Voyage!
